2010-08-15: Gaming habits
Not out of a sense of accomplishment but simply because it was raining, I was playing my favorite space game for a ridiculously long time. What surprised me was my newfound tolerance for level grinding which I didn’t possess a year ago. While patience is generally an admirable trait, being able to do dull and repetitive tasks for hours upon hours is nothing to be proud of.
In gaming at least, this strategy lets you reach your goal eventually. Real life has some powerful anti-grinding measures, aging for example.
