2010-09-30: Bandwidth

I don’t find the energy to do a lot these days. Still, sometimes I get half an hour where I would be able to create something, so here goes:

You surely know that in train stations and on the trains from Geneva to Zurich (via Bern) you can get on the Internet for the price of a coffee an hour. For the login process you’ll have to enter your cell phone number to which they will then send your password.

Here’s a Favelet that fills in these values and submits the form, saving you up to two minutes of typing every day. Just type in your cell phone number and click the Create Favelet button, then drag the link that appears to your bookmarks bar (in Internet Explorer you may have to right click it instead).

Start small.

2010-09-10: France and Europe

When walking home from work, I saw a poster advertising a documentary movie about France and Europe.

This poster amused me to no end, and the fact that people could think of such a title without the slightest cynicism is one of the reasons I can still stand to live down here.

Maybe I should go watch it.
