2011-06-20: Divonne — Geneva
…with a little detour in the Jura. You can reach Divonne-les-Bains from Nyon in about 30 minutes by bus. Ah, what the hell, if you don’t mind walking a circle just take the car.
You see the first panorama after about an hour. Not satisfied with that I decided to continue above in the Haute Chaine du Jura above Gex but didn’t get all the way to the top due to time constraints (subtract the hours it takes you to get from Gex to Geneva airport and you should be fine in half a day even starting from Divonne — getting to Switzerland through the suburbs is quite boring anyway).
